Task requirements
1. Develop HQ level understanding of current and emerging drone tech and capabilities, support OPTs with Drone SME input.
2. Develop whole HQ understanding of anti-drone tech and capabilities.
3. Deliver training for units and HQs to improve usage of in-service and COTS drones
4. Engage with service and commercial providers (if/where appropriate) to ensure 1XX is at the forefront of military drone development and use
Essential competencies
The core qualities required are those of an effective staff officer able to operate at 2-Star level. A deep understanding of the capabilities and development of drones in the military context is key to this post.

The post will attract a maximum of 80 RSDs over an anticipated period of 12 months maximum.
