We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Graphics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Computer Graphics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge algorithms and systems for simulating drone navigation, developing visualizations and working with front-end teams to create representations of customer assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer programming, possess expertise in computer graphics and associated mathematics, and demonstrate proficiency in simulation systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Configure Unity, ISAAC or similar  environments to ensure compatibility with Pix4D/ DJI drones.
  • Utilize a strong background in linear algebra to solve complex mathematical problems and optimize algorithms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to seamlessly integrate Pix4D and DJI SDKs into Unity and AirSim environments.
  • Develop advanced algorithms for trajectory generation and path planning in mobile robotics applications
  • Generate pipelines in the simulation environment for synthetic data collection

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing simulation environments for testing navigation and inspection workflows.
  • Proficient in linear algebra, group theory and their application in robotics.
  • Hands-on experience with visualization methods and libraries such as Rviz, Airsim, Gazebo, ISAAC, etc.
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as C++, CUDA, Python, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Strongly Desired:

  • Strong skills on Mesh processing such as simplification, skinning, ray casting
  • Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan
  • Willingness and ability to collaborate on implementing navigation algorithms
  • Experience working with generative ML models
